Our core services include Rides, Meals, Classes, Care, and Advice. The Healthy Aging Programs Manager leads staff and operations of healthy aging programs. This role supervises Program Coordinators and manages the budget to ensure program effectiveness and fiscal responsibility. As a super user of online platforms supporting operations, this role maintains program data integrity and streamlines systems. This role manages volunteers and instructors for key program areas, including Digital Empowerment, Health and Wellness, Arts and Community, and Education and Experiential. This position maintains existing programming and develops new offerings, oversees grant and contract reporting, and leads comprehensive program evaluation and marketing. This role requires a proactive, collaborative leader who ensures high-quality service delivery, strong partnerships, and measurable outcomes aligned with organizational goals. Essential Functions: Supervision: Weekly check-ins with Program Coordinators Oversee all program areas (Digital Empowerment, Health and Wellness, Arts and Community, and Education and Experiential) Manage volunteers and instructors, including Brown Bag Pantry volunteers Provide feedback and coaching for improvement Train and support the Program Coordinator team on all online platforms utilized to support operations Co-lead person with IT team in weekly meetings, managing projects, and resolving issues Team lead on special projects related to online platforms utilized to support operations Volunteer/Instructor Management: Onboarding and training volunteers/paid instructors Coordinate volunteer/paid instructor scheduling Point of contact for volunteers/instructors Monitor and record volunteer hours Process/approve instructor invoices Budget Management: Recording and tracking of expenses against budget categories and/or contracts and grants Manage the process of submitting invoices for payment and approving staff expenses Quarterly budget review with supervisor to evaluate performance on budget versus actuals Program Maintenance and Development: Maintain current portfolio of programs: Track participation and outcomes in Salesforce Ensure high-quality delivery by evaluating participant and instructor feedback Implement adjustments and improvements as needed Develop new programs: Identify emerging needs of older adult participants Launch innovative initiatives that align with the center’s mission and community interests Evaluate existing and new programming for impact, accessibility, and alignment with best practices for older adult services Program Marketing: Plan and publish email blasts as needed Attend marketing meetings Oversee Program Coordinators on program outreach Requirements Five years of progressive responsibility in leading teams in the delivery of programs and services, including at least 2 years developing and growing new programs; experience in healthy aging is desired Two years of experience working in the community to increase awareness, build partnerships, and/or gain support for new ventures Experience in the health care industry or in community health and nutrition wellness programs is desired Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email, CRM, and project management tools Ability to identify and introduce productivity tools to teams Experience with data tracking, evaluation and decision making Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to meet deadlines, utilize excellent organizational skills, demonstrate attention to detail, and prioritize and accomplish work among multiple projects and competing demands. Capable of consistent and rapid response on time sensitive activities Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject or equivalent education and experience Compensation and Benefits: $85,000-$95,000 annually (depending on experience) Benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, chiropractic, life, retirement, paid time off, holidays, and more.
