Key Responsibilities - Develop, implement, and oversee aquatic programs including swim lessons, water safety courses, and recreational swimming activities. - Ensure the safety of all participants by maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and supervising aquatic facilities. - Plan and coordinate healthy living programs such as fitness classes, wellness workshops, and community health initiatives. - Promote member engagement and retention through innovative programming and excellent customer service. - Collaborate with staff and community partners to enhance program offerings and outreach efforts. - Monitor and maintain equipment, facilities, and supplies related to aquatic and healthy living activities. - Track program participation, evaluate effectiveness, and adjust offerings to meet community needs. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in aquatics or health and wellness preferred. Lifeguard certification and CPR/AED certification required; water safety instructor certification a plus. Experience in aquatic programming, fitness instruction, or health promotion. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse community members. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Organizational skills with attention to safety, detail, and program quality. Passion for promoting healthy living and community wellness.
