Description Heart & Vascular Center (HVC) - Registered Nurse (RN) Department: Nursing - Heart & Vascular Center Status Hours: Full-time, 80 hours bi-weekly Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (4 10-hour shifts) Includes: Call time of every 4th weekend and 7/8 shifts per month Signing Bonus: Included ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job Summary: Fulton County Health Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Nurse (RN) for our Heart & Vascular Center. Under general direction and in accordance with hospital standards and policies, the Staff Nurse will be responsible for coordinating and evaluating nursing care for patients undergoing procedures in the Heart & Vascular Center and Radiology Departments. This includes areas such as Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, and Stress Testing. As a Staff Nurse, you must be flexible and adaptable to work variable hours based on patient schedules. While call time is anticipated in the future, you may also be required to start early or stay late as patient needs dictate. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Requirements Current RN license from the State of Ohio Board of Nursing. Specialization in a cardiovascular-related specialty is preferred. Ability to provide nursing care requiring specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill derived from biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences. Completion of ACLS and BLS certifications. Demonstrated critical care knowledge and skills, particularly in cardiovascular anatomy and physiology. Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythm strips. High-level proficiency in obtaining and maintaining peripheral vascular access. Strong professional conduct, communication, and interpersonal skills. CCU (Coronary Care Unit) experience is required.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and evaluate nursing care for patients undergoing procedures in the Heart & Vascular Center and Radiology Departments. Manage care within the Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Stress Testing areas.
