JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents in a supported living and home care setting. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of those in your care.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• valid Driving License
• Familiarity with creating and following care plans is advantageous.
• Strong IT skills for documentation purposes are desirable.
• Proficient communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with residents and team members.

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.

• Support individuals in maintaining their independence while ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on care plans and progress.
• Document care provided and any changes in residents’ conditions accurately and promptly.
• Engage residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Drive to various locations if required for home care visits, ensuring safe transportation for clients.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the care environment.
