Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the HVAC industry, with prior experience in this field highly preferred. Proficiency in computer systems and software is essential for effective management of accounts and reporting. Strong time management skills are critical to efficiently juggle multiple client needs and project timelines.
The purpose of the Consultant Account Manager role is to work with a range of influencers advancing customer relationships, product awareness, specification value and ultimately sales revenue within the designated geographical area or customer base.
This role will report to the Consultant Sales Manager and it is expected there will be a close working relationship with the applicable Branch Manager. It will be required close collaboration with sales, presales and operations colleagues within the branch and from time to time at BU level. The role will also require close working relationships with a wide range of other LES and BST colleagues to ensure that there is alignment with long established company policies, systems and procedures and ultimately to ensure the best possible experience for our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be the ‘Industry Standard’ for consultant sales ensuring management of clients and their projects with an emphasis on the highest customer service levels at all times
  • Focusing on strong specification and influence, promoting the whole Mitsubishi Electric product portfolio
  • Track projects, working with colleagues towards a structured transition to order stage prioritising customer experience above all
  • Support customers by delivering up to date product and legislation CPDs in the most appropriate manner, either in person or online
  • Increase penetration within each consultancy practice, working with greater number of engineers and increasing future opportunities
  • Develop appropriate client strategy utilising the consultant business review method and tools, to work with the Consultant Sales Manager to define targets and timelines
  • Participate in MEUK centrally funded events & general entertaining of customers to build relationships.
  • Ownership of personal and technical development – to identify and take action, document progress within advancement appraisal framework
