Gastek Heating & Cooling is a proud, family-owned business with over 20 years’ experience delivering premium ducted heating, evaporative cooling, and split system solutions across Melbourne’s North, East, and South (inner & outer) suburbs.

THE ROLE…

We are seeking either a qualified Heating & Cooling Technician / Plumber or a motivated 3rd/4th Year Apprentice to join our installation team. This is a hands-on role working across both residential and some light commercial projects. You’ll be responsible for installations, servicing, and maintenance of ducted heating, evaporative cooling, and split system air conditioning.
Suitable candidates will be a proactive, a self starter, thrive with problem solving and have excellent communication skills. You will provide outstanding customer service and build relationships with both customers and the Gastek team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install ducted heaters, evaporative coolers, and split systems.
• Read and interpret job specifications.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance when required.
• Ensure all work complies with safety and building codes.
• Collaborate with apprentices and fellow technicians.
• Maintain van stock and complete job documentation using our digital platform (company iPad provided and phone).
