Heatcare Oil & Gas Ltd (A Cardo Group company) are currently looking to recruit a Heating Installation Engineer to join their Maintenance Department which covers the Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire Area for current Domestic and Commercial Contracts.
The successful candidates will join our team, carrying out a range of installations in domestic properties including major and minor project works.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience as a Gas Engineer or in a similar role.
  • CSCS (preferred)
  • Relevant ASC Qualifications
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • City & Guilds (preferred)
  • Plumbing experience (preferred)
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various gas systems effectively.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in various technical tasks related to gas installations, maintenance, and repairs. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality, ensuring that all work complies with industry standards and regulations.

ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances and systems in residential and commercial contracts including major and minor project works.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of gas systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Assemble components using hand tools and power tools, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
  • Perform plumbing tasks as required, including the installation of pipes and fixtures.
  • Carry out heavy lifting as necessary for the installation and maintenance of gas equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
