BARNSLEY, SOUTH YORKSHIRE

Due to recent company growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic full time, heating and renewable energy engineer to join our team. This role will involve the installation of full heating systems including air source heat pumps and gas boilers.
Energex Eco operates under the ECO scheme which is a government-backed initiative, helping millions of homes all over the UK lower their energy bills by installing free renewable energy and insulation measures. We are also work with private customers to help them ensure that their homes are as energy efficient as possible.
We are currently installing the following insulation measures:
Room and roof insulation
Internal wall insulation
Air Source Heat Pumps
Gas Boilers
Loft Insulation
Electric storage heaters
Solar PV
Battery storage systems

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

· A full, clean driving licence is required
· Applicants must have extensive experience of installing heating systems including Air Source Heat Pumps

· Must have;

• Unvented Hot Water qualification (G3 regulations)
• Formal Air Source Heat Pump qualification
• Plumbing and Heating City & Guilds or NVQ’s
• Gas qualification

· Awareness of GDPR principles and able to implement them
· Some experience with heating controls would be desirable
· Willingness to undertake further training where necessary
· Some travel around the UK

· Removal of existing heating systems
· Installation of first-time central heating systems
· Installation of Gas Boilers
· Installation of Air Source Heat Pumps
· Communication with various stakeholders
· Dealing with customers
· Dealing with issues and finding resolutions
· Recording information electronically
