Responsibilities

TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE RESPONSE AND PLANNED MAINTENANCE TASKS.

· You will understand and take responsibility for the successful day-to-day repairs and maintenance services across the NHS Facility and Rehabilitation Centre.
· You will contribute to the effective and efficient daily operation and maintenance of all engineering plant and electrical systems.
· You will work proactively and responsibly in conjunction with the customer and MMS management team and have the necessary competences required to carry out responsibilities and complete tasks that may involve complex or non-routine activities.
· Typical areas of work include, but are not limited to, the following: a) Air handling equipment (AHU/DX/VRF) systems and controls, Smoke extract ventilation, in various environments, which may include isolation rooms. b) Heating and Hot Water systems, LTHW / CWS, c) CHW systems, d) PHE / Stored hot water calorifiers maintenance, e) TMV - Bariatric Rooms (Dart Valley system), Thermostatic mixing valves and taps, Thermostatic showers, f) Co2 Heat Pumps, DX cooling, and associated equipment g) Pressurised systems h) Drainage and condense pipework and associated traps, fittings, Pumping Station ) Building Management Systems – BMS, i) Cold water storage and distribution, j) Toilets and basins and k) Kitchen catering equipment.
