WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic with at least 5 years of experience, preferably in the mining industry.
  • Essential: Hands-on experience with jaw and cone crushers, screens, and conveyors.
  • Strong mechanical diagnostics and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
  • Willingness to work a FIFO/DIDO day/nights roster with a minimum 2:1 schedule.
  • Immediate Start available.
  • Current driver’s licence (HR preferred).
  • Ability to pass a pre employment medical and drug/alcohol screening (Lab-Das)
  • Provide a current National Police Clearance

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Minemec Diesel Services is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Diesel Fitter with proven experience in crushing and screening equipment to join our team on a casual basis with the opportunity to go full time. This FIFO/DIDO role is based in the Goldfields, Western Australia.
You’ll be working hands-on with jaw crushers, cone crushers, screens, conveyors, and late-model earthmoving equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for our clients’ operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on mobile crushing, screening and late model earthmoving equipment.
  • Perform component changeouts and fault diagnosis.
  • Work with jaw crushers, cone crushers, screens, and conveyors.
  • Provide field service across client mine and quarry sites.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to coordinate repair schedules and prioritise work.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
  • Follow all safety protocols and compliance procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
