We are currently seeking Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our teams in Newman, Karratha, and Port Hedland.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager you will diagnose, repair, maintain and test motor vehicle and other internal combustion engines and related mechanical components. Service and repair a wide range of light vehicles, trailers, buses, cranes, and large trucks you will also be required maintain a safe working environment.

• Detecting and diagnosing faults in vehicle parts and engines
• Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, steering mechanisms transmissions, and other components, and checking integrity of parts
• Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components, with the ability to interpret service manuals as required
• Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine servicing to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with emission regulations
• Reassembling engines and parts after repair
• Testing and modifying mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance
• Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of diagnostics
• Inspecting vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve safety standards
