Skiddy’s Diesel Services is on the lookout for a Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic to jump on board with our small but busy team!
We’re offering consistent hours (between 8am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday) from early September through mid-October – with the potential for this to turn into a full-time position if you’re the right fit.
This is a casual / temporary position, but we’re open to longer-term opportunities if things go well. We’re also happy to work around your other commitments – this could suit someone already doing contract work, or a qualified mechanic between jobs looking to find the right crew.

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Cert III in Mobile Plant or Heavy Vehicle Mechanical)
• Experience with hydraulic hose assembly and identification
• MR/HR Truck Licence (desirable)
• Forklift Licence (desirable)

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $39.00 – $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week

Licence/Certification:

• Full Driver Licence (Preferred)
• Mechanical Trade Certificate (Preferred)
