What You’ll Do Hands-on work with: Brake systems, adjustments, and component replacement Tractor and 53' trailer preventative maintenance Tire service, replacement, mounting, and dismounting Basic troubleshooting and repair Minor welding and cutting torch use Oil changes, greasing, and fluid checks Replacing mud flaps, hangers, mirrors, shocks, wiper components Jump-starting tractors and aligning headlights Maintaining a clean, safe, compliant work environment What We Offer Competitive pay: $17–$20/hr based on experience Full-time, day shift Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) with company match Boot & tool allowance Uniforms provided EAP and paid life insurance Weekly overtime potential Tool bonuses Requirements Who You Are Mechanically inclined and motivated to learn Experienced with diesel, trailer, or reefer systems — or eager to grow into the role Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Equipped with a basic tool set Holder of a valid driver’s license Brake certified — or willing to get certified (we’ll help you get there) High school diploma or GED required Technical school or hands-on equipment experience preferred Why Join Leonard’s Express?
