We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience with various types of heavy machinery, including excavators, cranes, and farm equipment. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality while providing exceptional customer service.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven mechanic experience with heavy equipment, automotive repair, or related fields.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment, HVAC systems, and electrical components.
• Experience working in a dealership environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with operating heavy machinery such as excavators and cranes is essential.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate various power tools safely.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction and teamwork.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to ensure accurate repairs.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs efficiently.
• Conduct thorough inspections of machinery to identify potential problems before they escalate.
• Collaborate with team members to assemble and disassemble heavy equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs and repair status.
