ABOUT THE ROLE

Morin Construction is looking for an experienced and dependable Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Hearst, Ontario. You’ll be working in our on-site garage, supporting our construction and forestry operations by maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy equipment and trucks.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a skilled mechanic who takes pride in keeping machines in top shape and enjoys working as part of a tight-knit, safety-focused team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment and trucks
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation
• Ensure all repairs meet safety and operational standards
• Collaborate with operators and supervisors to prioritize urgent repairs
• Order parts and supplies as needed
• Keep the garage workspace organized, safe, and efficient
• Support equipment readiness for field deployment
