ABOUT THE ROLE

Morin Construction is looking for an experienced and dependable Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team. You’ll be working at the mine site, supporting our construction operations by maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy equipment and trucks.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a skilled mechanic who takes pride in keeping machines in top shape and enjoys working as part of a tight-knit, safety-focused team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment and trucks
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation
• Ensure all repairs meet safety and operational standards
• Collaborate with operators and supervisors to prioritize urgent repairs
• Order parts and supplies as needed
• Keep the garage workspace organized, safe, and efficient
• Support equipment readiness for field deployment
