RED SEAL HEAVY EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN – FLY-IN/FLY-OUT

Location: Northern Ontario (Remote Sites)

CJ Equipment Sales & Service is currently seeking experienced Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technicians for Fly-In/Fly-Out positions in Northern Ontario. This is a physically demanding and rewarding field role, ideal for motivated professionals with a strong background in heavy civil construction or mining. The position operates on a 14 days on / 14 days off rotation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Red Seal Certified Heavy Equipment Technician (Journeyman)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with CAT, John Deere, Komatsu, and Hitachi equipment
• 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction or mining
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently in remote locations
• Physically fit and capable of demanding field work

• Operate and maintain CJ Equipment service trucks in a safe, professional manner
• Perform scheduled repairs and preventative maintenance in the field
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues on-site
• Communicate effectively with site management to coordinate service needs
• Complete accurate and timely maintenance/service documentation
• Follow all company health, safety, and operational protocols
