REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using power tools and hand tools.
  • Proven experience in automotive repair or heavy equipment mechanics..
  • Familiarity with machinery operation and the ability to operate it safely.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, climbing and stand for extended periods during work shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
  • A High School Diploma GED or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience in automotive repair or heavy equipment mechanics, with a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. Experience with diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues using schematics and technical manuals, as well as maintaining machinery such as forklifts, milling machines, metal forming machines, air systems, and hydraulic systems.

SKILLS:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using power tools and hand tools.
  • Strong electrical aptitude with experience diagnosing complex electrical issues and using testing equipment.
  • Familiarity with machinery operation and the ability to operate it safely.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Forklift, elevated platform operator’s license, and DZ or AZ driver’s license are a plus.
  • Ability to create electrical designs is a plus.

  • Performing troubleshooting, repair and maintenance on propane, diesel and electrical forklifts ranging from 2000-15,000lbs+
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify problems accurately.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Assist in heavy lifting and hoisting tasks as required during repairs or equipment relocation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support team objectives and ensure seamless operations in a timely manner.
