JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing as well as repairing Trucks, Trailers, Pickup Trucks as well as automotives. This role requires a strong mechanical background, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will ensure that all equipment is operating efficiently and safely.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven mechanic experience with heavy equipment; dealership experience is a plus.
• 3+ years of relevant mechanical experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnostics and repairs.
• Strong communication skills for effective customer service interactions.

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues.
• Rebuild and replace engines.
• Replace transmissions, differentials, seals, brakes, and rotors.
• Perform maintenance and repair on diesel and gas vehicles, including trucks and trailers.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards.
