POSITION SUMMARY

If you enjoy working for a growing company with opportunity to work overtime and earn a large six figure income, Avenge has many project through out provinces and is looking for a exceptional mechanics to repair our trucks in our shop or jump in a service truck to do repairs on sites. Experience working on fluid hauling and vac trucks would be an asset. This is a high volume, fast paced environment, and when you are not travelling, can enjoy a great team environment working in one of our three shops. Starting wage, dependent on experience and certifications. JM starting wage range is $45.00 to $48.00 depending on experience with opportunity to earn a over $160K per year.
We off flexible rotations, such as 8/6 and 5/2. Overtime after 8/40. Starting wage is dependent on a combination of certification and service truck experience which can be discussed during interview.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies & processes and acting in a safe manner at all time;
  • Ensures that all equipment is properly secured prior to work/repairs, (i.e.: uses chock blocks and jack stands);
  • Corrects all equipment deficiencies and performs preventative maintenance tasks on company vehicles and equipment; Tank Truck, Hydrovac and Combo unit repair experience is an asset.
  • Performs thorough inspections of equipment and identifies required repairs;
  • Performs routine and specific maintenance tasks;
  • Troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs equipment and light and heavy-duty vehicles;
  • Disassembles, inspects and replaces worn or broken parts;
  • Fits and adjusts new or repaired parts;
  • Perform supervised CVIP repairs as assigned;
  • Completes and submits all associated electronic documentation as required for tracking Preventative Maintenance schedules;
  • Submit and completes all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner;
  • Ensures the shop area is kept clean, tidy and free of hazards at all times.
  • Fabrication and/or welding considered an asset
