POSITION: Heavy duty Mechanical Technician
JOB TYPE: Permanent
LOCATION: Renfrew
SCHEDULE: Day
SALARY: $26 to $33 depending on experience
INDUSTRY: Transportation

QUALIFICATIONS

310T Licence or 310 S in heavy vehicle mechanics or other equivalent diploma;
Possess the mandatory PEP card;
2 to 5 years of experience in heavy road vehicle mechanics
Experience in bus mechanical maintenance (Asset)
Knowledge of diesel mechanics; in electric mechanic; and hydraulic as well as pneumatic systems.
Knowledge of Cummins, Wabco, Outlook and Allison software

Responsibilities

Carry out repairs and maintenance of school buses;
Complete mechanical maintenance reports and work orders;
Monitor the preventive maintenance program (PEP);
Prepare lists of parts required to carry out repairs as well as to keep the inventory up to date;
Issue parts issue vouchers on work orders;
Organize the workshop (equipment, store) and clean the work and washing areas;
Install radio, camera and GPS equipment on a new vehicle;
