Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Heavy Truck Paint and Body Technician to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing trucks and trailers, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards. What You'll Do: Perform all levels of heavy-duty truck and trailer collision repair services, including bodywork, fiberglass repair, sheet metal repair, and composite bonding. Examine and accurately identify parts required for the repair of heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists, hand tools, and power tools. Conduct surface preparation, sanding, priming, and painting to restore vehicles to their original condition. Perform frame straightening and alignment to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Mix, color match, and refine paint finishes to achieve seamless repairs. Perform preventative maintenance and complete all refinishing operations as specified in work orders. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Completion of a vocational or other post-secondary training program. Trailer body and/or welding and fabrication experience. Must have own tools (larger equipment/tools will be supplied by the company). Ability to operate heavy duty equipment. Time management skills. Basic computer skills. Physical Demands: Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. from floor to waist height. Ability to carry a minimum of 50 lbs. over a 5-foot span. Ability to push/pull a minimum of 50 lbs. across a 10-foot span. Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs. from waist to shoulder. Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to bend or twist body without restriction. Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl. Ability to work in extreme weather, including but not limited to high heat, low temperature, and high sun environments. EOE
