JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of trailers and related equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The Trailer Mechanic will ensure that all trailers are in optimal working condition to meet safety standards and operational efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with a focus on trailer or heavy equipment repair.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, and industrial equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with mechanical repairs.
  • Familiarity with operating heavy machinery safely in a workshop setting.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and technical documents related to trailer mechanics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid driver’s license may be required for this position.
