Description Position Summary The Heavy Equipment Driver is responsible for safe and timely transportation of agricultural and heavy equipment between dealership locations, customer sites, and manufacturer facilities. This role plays a critical part in supporting sales, service, and customer satisfaction by ensuring equipment is delivered professionally and in excellent condition. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Safely load, secure, transport, and unload heavy equipment (tractors, combines, sprayers, implements, etc.). Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and trailer. Ensure all equipment is properly secured in compliance with DOT regulations. Deliver equipment to customer locations in a professional and courteous manner. Coordinate delivery schedules with Sales, Service, and Parts departments. Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures as required. Report any equipment damage or mechanical concerns immediately. Assist with yard organization and equipment movement between locations as needed. Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned truck and trailer. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Acceptable driving record with no major violations. Minimum 2 years of experience hauling heavy equipment preferred. Knowledge of load securement regulations and DOT compliance. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb on/off equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Professional communication skills when interacting with customers. Ability to travel between dealership locations and customer sites. Flexibility to work extended hours during peak seasons.
