With a busy service department and a growing customer base, we’re now creating this new role for a skilled technician ready to step into a leadership-focused position. Job Description As the Heavy Equipment Leading Hand for New Builds, you’ll support the Service Manager and keep the service operation running smoothly. This hands-on role leads the team day-to-day, oversees workflow, and provides technical expertise across diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and heavy machinery systems. You will; Lead, coach, and support the service team while coordinating workflow Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and heavy machinery systems Provide technical troubleshooting and field support as needed Ensure jobs progress efficiently, manage consumables, and maintain H&S compliance Build and maintain strong customer relationships Qualifications You’re a qualified Heavy Plant & Equipment Technician with 10+ years’ experience and ideally some leadership exposure. You thrive in a busy environment, enjoy guiding others, and remain confident on the tools.
