We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-focused self-starter to supervise the maintenance team and maintenance operation at our busy port terminal. This is an opportunity for the right person to demonstrate their MECHANICAL and LEADERSHIP abilities.
Responsibilities:

YOU HAVE THE RIGHT QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in the maintenance, repair and operation of all industrial engineering equipment.
• Must possess good mechanical, electrical and electronic skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations preferred.
• Ability to maintain reports and records pertaining to training, maintenance, safety and operations.
• Computer literate with excellent knowledge of the Windows platform and the ability to use a maintenance management software database.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; Ability to present information and technical information.

• Manage and maintain the fleet of equipment including forklifts, excavators, front-end loaders, and any other equipment used in operations.
• Ensure all staff inspects equipment daily for routine maintenance, and that equipment is ready and able to handle the products safely and without damage.
• Walk through the terminal regularly to ensure the equipment is being operated in a safe and economical manner.
• Oversee the maintenance and repairs on the facilities and terminals.
• Utilize the Purchase Order system to create, recommend, receive, and reconcile invoices with POs.
• Schedule staff mechanics to support operations. Enter and approve weekly payroll for mechanics.
• Work in conjunction with Operations team to ensure the implementation of Logistec’’s HSE policies and programs.
