JOB POSTING: HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

Clearydale Farms Inc. is a 165 head holstein, 4 GEA robot dairy with a 500 kW methane digester and 1,450 acres of crop. We continually strive for new and innovative ways of operating and want to add to our quality team to continue these endeavours.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team on a busy dairy and cash crop farm. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating a variety of heavy machinery and committed to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced agricultural environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator, with specific expertise in the machines listed above.
• Strong understanding of land clearing, site preparation, and agricultural operations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Candidate must be physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects.
• A strong work ethic and the willingness to work flexible hours, primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend availability as needed.
• Relevant certifications or a valid driver’s license for applicable equipment is a definite asset.

• Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, track loaders, tractors, dump trailers, and dump trucks.
• Perform diverse farm-related tasks such as land clearing, stumping, ditch digging, fence row clearing, and brush burning.
• Work closely with the farm team to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to a high standard.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on all equipment.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and farm protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
