Description

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness of equipment-completion of daily checklists (ie. inspection, cleaning & maintaining equipment)
  • Follow all employer policies, including dress code, driving, cellular phone use, Health, and Safety
  • Operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, load, and grade materials such as earth, rock, and gravel on the worksite
  • Working in remote locations building logging roads, as well as completing residential projects like landscaping, retaining walls, septic installation, etc.
  • Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task;

Requirements:

  • 3 years experience as a heavy equipment operator
  • Must have a clean driver abstract
  • 40+ hours a week
  • Travel to the office every morning prior to work starting & travel as a unit for the day
  • Resolve any issues brought forward and problem solve for a solution
  • Must be well versed in construction site protocols, rules and code of conduct
  • Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures

Additional info

  • Compensation will be based on level of experience and/ or certifications

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
