What you will do: Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, operates mobile heavy equipment to receive, stockpile, and load materials into storage cells and stationary equipment. Operate Company heavy equipment safely and efficiently, while meeting operation goals. Perform periodic safety, maintenance or servicing checks to ensure the proper functioning of the equipment. Perform tire monofill operations duties such as receiving and stockpiling tires, recovering tires from monofill storage cells, dispatching truckloads of outgoing materials. Sets up and configures monofill equipment Prepares and distributes periodic reports as required Performs grounds keeping and minor building repairs Perform minor repair work and/or basic welding during functioning problems. Inform and advise the management of repairs or maintenance needed. Adhere to safety and regulatory compliance standards. Provide operation leadership or supervision as required. Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, vendors and visitors Other duties assigned as needed.
