OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Excavator/Loader Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating heavy machinery, particularly excavators and loaders, within a construction environment. This role involves working on various construction projects, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment, and contributing to the overall success of our projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience operating excavators and loaders in a construction setting in an asset
  • Strong understanding of construction procedures, blueprints, and site layouts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safety and the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment as needed.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and terrain types.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.

Responsibilities
  • Operate excavators and loaders to perform tasks such as digging, trenching, loading, and moving materials.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Follow project plans and specifications to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the site supervisor or project manager.
