Description Purpose: We are seeking a skilled Bulldozer and Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to assist in various construction projects. Essential Functions: Maintain full compliance with all safety policies and procedures, environmental regulations, OSHA/MSHA ensuring both personal and team adherence. Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture while upholding the company’s core values. Always use the proper Personal Protection Equipment (PPE). Operate bulldozers and excavators safely and efficiently on construction sites. Perform tasks such as digging, grading, and building as required by project specifications. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with other operators and construction personnel to complete projects on time. Familiarity with grader operation and other construction machinery is a plus. Proven experience in heavy equipment operation with a focus on construction machinery. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Basic mechanical knowledge to identify and report equipment issues. Effective communication skills. Ability to adapt to fast-paced operations and changing priorities. Valid driver’s license in state of residence; CDL preferred but not required. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, climb, and operate heavy equipment for extended periods. Ability to life up to 50 lbs regularly; occasionally lifting heavier loads with assistance. Ability to climb, stoop, bend, squat, lift, stretch, push, pull, twist, kneel, stand, walk, sit, and reach. Ability to work in uneven terrain, pits, and stockpile areas. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, dust). Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime as needed.
