OVERVIEW

DLG Excavation & Trucking INC is currently hiring a SEASONAL (with the potential to be year round depending on work) Heavy Equipment Operator / Labourer to join our growing crew. This is a hands-on role for someone who is confident operating dozers, experienced with a variety of other machines, and willing to assist with labour and grade work when needed. We take pride in our work and are looking for a dependable team player who values quality, safety, and hard work.

EXPERIENCE

• Experience operating heavy equipment (especially dozer work)
• Ability to read grade and use laser rod , GPS grading experience is an asset
• Mechanically inclined – able to help with minor equipment maintenance or troubleshooting
• Valid driver’s license (AZ or DZ an asset) in good standing
• Physically fit and willing to assist with labour tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Safety-focused with a strong work ethic
  Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
  Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

• Operate dozer for grading, backfilling, and site shaping
• Operate other equipment as needed: Excavator, Rock truck, Skid steer, Packer/compactor
• Use laser rod for grade checking
• GPS experience is an asset
• Assist with general labour when equipment is not in use
• Perform daily equipment checks and help maintain clean, safe job sites
