Responsibilities As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will support all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. In addition, you will: Operate construction equipment including, excavators, backhoes, cable plow, trenchers, hydraulic reel trailers & other types of machinery & assure maintenance of these as required. Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field Read and understand utility locates and above ground utility indicators to ensure the safety of the crew and a high level of productivity Assist crew as needed with tasks such as: hand digging, loading and unloading heavy materials, laying conduit, pulling and placing large fiber, etc. Qualifications About You: Safety is a part of your day to day with a record of completing work with a high level of quality You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work You are looking for long-term projects You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team You have at least 2 years experience operating heavy equipment on a construction site Have at least 1 years experience in telecom industry Have a valid DL with clean record past 3 years (CDL preferred) MOS Codes 12N, 12V, 21E, and 21J relate well to this position.
