POSITION OVERVIEW

The role of a heavy equipment operator is both challenging and rewarding, involving the operation of large machines used in construction, mining, and other industrial projects. Know your way around an excavator? Used 3D grading systems before? If you’ve spent time in the seat of a skid steer or mini excavator, we want to hear from you! We’re looking for someone with real experience who’s ready to jump in and get the job done. Here’s a closer look at what the role typically entails.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experienced and Certified: You have a minimum of 5 years experience in excavator, mini excavator, skid steer. You have extensive experience with heavy machinery, and any necessary certifications. While we use 3D systems to support our operators, no prior experience on 3D grading systems is needed — training will be provided
  • Technically Proficient: Whether you’re familiar with various systems or need additional training, you’re ready to learn and apply new skills. You have operated machinery on construction sites, which as you know, can be noisy and dusty.
  • Physically Fit and Detail-Oriented: You can meet the physical demands of the job while focusing on precision and safety.
  • Adaptive and Collaborative: You thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy working as part of a team.
