Job Description Supports resort operations teams and facilities by performing equipment operation duties focused on projects, preventive maintenance, and work orders. As Heavy Equipment Operator, you will: Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner Store heavy equipment safely and securely Maintain a clean and presentable workplace Clean heavy equipment as scheduled Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on all equipment being used Repair any issues that are found with erosion on property Maintain proper erosion control and keep retaining ponds clean Direct material handling or moving activities Inspect material-moving equipment to detect problems Maintain material moving equipment in good working condition Maintain professional knowledge or certifications To excel in this role, you must embody our core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic. Qualifications Minimum of 1 years of hands-on experience in a resort or commercial environment Must possess two to four years related experience and/or training Must have a valid Driver’s license CDL Preferred Must be competent and knowledgeable pertaining to OSHA excavation & operating requirements Must have a working knowledge of grades and blueprints and working in staked areas Required to pass a background screen, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States Additional Information Why Westgate?
