Job Description About the role: Based in Matamata and Reporting to the Service Manager - Material Processing, this role is responsible for the commissioning, servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of material processing plant and equipment, both mobile and fixed. You’ll work closely with customers, the engineering and workshop teams, and parts suppliers to ensure equipment performs safely, reliably, and to a high standard. Key responsibilities include: Servicing, repairing, and maintaining material processing equipment Installation and commissioning of crushing and screening plant Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs in workshop and field environments Building strong customer relationships to enhance the overall service experience Supporting the wider team with additional tasks as required Qualifications About you: You’re a mechanically minded Service Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and delivering excellent customer service. You’re confident working in dynamic environments and enjoy solving problems on site. You will ideally bring: A trade qualification in heavy equipment, engineering, or fabrication Experience with material processing, crushing, or screening equipment Strong mechanical aptitude, with electrical capability an advantage Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation Forklift or gantry certification (desirable) The ability to prioritise workloads and perform under pressure Clear communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach Flexibility to travel, work away from home, and work extended hours when required Additional Information Whats in it for you: We’re committed to your success and well-being.
