We are growing and are currently looking for motivated and experienced Shop Heavy Equipment Technicians and Shop Automotive Technicians to join our Team.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Heavy Equipment/ Automotive Technician works with our Shop Manager to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment to help ensure optimal equipment performance for our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • 3rd 4th or Journeyman H.E.T technicians only will be considered.
  • Journeyman Automotive Technicians will only be considered.
  • 5 Years minimum construction equipment experience.
  • Have a complete set of hand and air tools, specialty diagnostic equipment and large tools will be supplied.
  • Physically fit and able to meet the demands of heavy equipment field repairs.
  • Dealership experience and training considered an asset.
  • Proficient in equipment, Hydraulic, and Electrical diagnostics.
  • Able to read and apply electrical and Hydraulic schematics to assist in diagnostics.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
  • The Shop Technician is responsible for completing quality repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of equipment.
  • Completing Preventative maintenance services as set out by our checklists and identifying possible failures before they lead to downtime.
  • Completing equipment diagnostics and competently communicate issues with customers and Management.
  • Maintain a professional, clean, and organized work environment at all times.
  • Follow all company safety policies and practices.
  • Additional tasks as related to the position from time to time.
