JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Equipment/Forklift Technician to join our team. You will provide critical support by traveling to job sites to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment. This role is for a self-motivated professional who excels at problem-solving and values customer satisfaction.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience as a heavy equipment technician, automotive technician, or forklift technician (4+ years preferred).
  • 310T or 310S designation preferred - non-licensed technicians with proven experience considered.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Class A/Z or D/Z preferred but not required).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field.
  • Own basic tools to complete on-site work; specialty tools provided by the company.

    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $30.26-$35.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 44 – 60 per week

Responsibilities
  • Performing on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance for a variety of heavy equipment, mainly forklifts and material handling equipment. This role will be responsible for completing lifting device certifications and Emissions Testing as well.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Ensuring all service work is completed safely and in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
  • Communicating effectively with customers about repairs, timelines, and preventive maintenance recommendations.
  • Documenting service and repair work thoroughly and accurately.
