Description

Williamson Equipment is seeking highly skilled and motivated Heavy Duty Mechanics to join our team. We are looking for professionals with extensive knowledge of heavy-duty equipment to accurately diagnose and repair various mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Only licensed Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanics and 3-4 year apprentices with relevant experience will be considered.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic (CVIP certification is an asset, but not required).
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant apprenticeship experience.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 is a plus, but not required).
  • Own tools and proficiency in using industry-standard tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to maintaining safety standards and a clean work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and servicing on a diverse range of heavy-duty equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify faults and determine the extent of repairs.
  • Complete repairs and maintenance in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.
