HEAVY EQUIPMENT TECHNICIANS - EXPERIENCED JOURNEYMEN FOR ON/OFF-ROAD EQUIPMENT AND TRUCKS & TRAILERS

Motion Machinery is a growing company, providing parts, service, and repair to all makes and models of Heavy Equipment, Highway Truck and Trailer. Our facility is equipped and licensed to complete CVIP’s for customers. Motion Machinery is dedicated to providing prompt and stellar service to Edmonton and it’s surrounding areas.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CVIP license (considered an asset, but not required)
  • Forestry experience an asset
  • Ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical components, as well as diagnose source of faults and malfunctions.
  • Competency to complete detailed stories for work orders
  • Clear communication skills are essential
  • Computer experience necessary to complete work orders
  • Confidence to work alone and alongside other mechanics
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers licence
  • Tool box and tools

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, truck & trailers.
  • Perform work as noted on work order and repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems with accuracy and efficiency
  • Utilize hand and power tools to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Operate heavy machinery safely while adhering to industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating with superior regarding equipment status and repairs.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and safety on job sites.
