Forklift Operator/Crane Operator (Permanent Role)
Location: Kwik Steel Structures, Dubai.
We are seeking a licensed Category 8 heavy forklift operator to join our steel fabrication team in Jebel Ali. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy forklifts (> 7.5 tones), a strong safety mindset, and ability to efficiently move and stack long/heavy steel in a busy plant. UAE valid heavy forklift license required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate heavy-duty forklifts (capacity > 7.5 tones) to load/unload steel profiles, plates, and fabricated assemblies from trucks, storage racks, and production lines
• Transport raw materials and finished goods to designated fabrication or shipping areas per job orders and production schedules
• Stack steel products securely by job orders
• Conduct pre‑start checks on forklifts (fluids, brakes, forks) log defects and report malfunctions
• Maintain clean, safe workspaces
• Follow all health & safety protocols, including wearing PPE and safe stacking/forklift operation method.

Essential Qualifications

• UAE Heavy Forklift License – Category 8 (valid RTA license for > 7.5 tone forklifts)
• Strong spatial awareness and ability to maneuver long/heavy loads safely.
• Physically fit; able to handle repetitive lifting up to ~50‑80 kg
• Excellent attention to detail and a firm safety-first mindset
• Good communication and teamwork skills; able to follow supervisor instructions.
