Prattco Excavating is hiring a heavy equipment mover.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Tractor trailer with wheel combinations up to 20 wheel.
- Ability to operate equipment to self load and safely secure.
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods, etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Keep truck and associated equipment clean and in good working condition
Experience:
- Proven work experience moving equipment.
- Ability to work long hours.
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)
- Valid Class 1 driving license
