Our Opportunity   Location: All Pilbara Operations   Roster: 8D6R FIFO ex Perth   Reporting to the Superintendent HME New Builds, this role plays a key part in driving the successful delivery of new and hire equipment — ensuring our fleet meets the highest standards of cost efficiency, availability, and reliability.Key Responsibilities   Ensure new and hire equipment meets Fortescue, Australian, International, and other relevant standards including mine regulations Assist in documenting and managing Heavy Mobile Equipment specifications Provide a consistent link with our OEMs and vendors to ensure schedule adherence, cost control and prompt issue resolution Inspect all new and hire equipment to ensure they are being managed in accordance with our standards and cost targets Inspect HME to ensure fitment of all systems and components are in accordance with our current standards Manage build pads and contractors to Fortescue safety standards. Coordinate transport for HME as required Qualifications and Experience   Sound understanding of mine regulations, Australian, International, and other relevant standards Considerable experience in a similar role HV HME experience desirable Sound understanding of AHS/Terrain technology systems Strong Project Management experience essential Engineering or Trade Qualifications Strong leadership skills and influencing abilities Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships High organisational and planning skills About Us   Be part of something big.
