AIM Tuition Assistance Program Vacation, benefits, and a group RRSP with employer contribution 24/7 Telemedicine access A brand-new pair of steel-toe boots on your first day Job Description We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Montréal, Québec, from Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Under the supervision of the Team Leader, the Mobile Equipment Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and overhauling various types of equipment while providing regular updates to their supervisor. Responsibilities Perform preventive, general, and periodic maintenance on vehicles Diagnose reported issues and determine their causes Carry out minor and major repairs on vehicles, including: Engines Hydraulic systems Pneumatic systems Braking and steering systems Electrical and electronic circuits and networks, as well as transmission components Complete work orders and inspection sheets, detailing the tasks performed Ensure proper use and functioning of company equipment Notify the immediate supervisor of any unplanned actions required, detected issues, or time overruns Keep the work area clean and safe Work safely and in compliance with the company’s health and safety policies and procedures Perform any other related duties as required Qualifications Strong experience in the maintenance, repair, and adjustment of mechanical equipment such as conveyors, crushers, shredders, vibrating tables, hydraulic systems, and presses. Ability to diagnose mechanical malfunctions, breakdowns, and failures, as well as to repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems. Proficient in testing equipment to ensure performance meets standards after repair or replacement. Ability to collaborate in problem-solving to improve equipment efficiency and functionality. Knowledge of safety protocols, including maintaining workplace cleanliness, complying with health and safety (OHS) regulations, and performing tasks safely.
