Heavy Plant Engineer – Mobile Role
Location: Southampton (Covering Surrounding Areas and assisting in workshop when required.)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Basic DOE + Overtime + Company Vehicle
We are looking for an experienced Heavy Plant Engineer to join our clients team, based from their Southampton depot and covering the surrounding areas in a mobile capacity. This role offers a competitive salary, overtime opportunities, and a company vehicle.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Heavy Plant Engineer, Mobile Plant Fitter, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy machinery, including excavators, dump trucks, bulldozers, and telehandlers.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • A self-motivated and proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of heavy plant machinery.

  • Work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring minimal downtime for equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service while attending breakdowns and carrying out scheduled maintenance.
