Remuneration: $65,664.56 - $70,917.60 per annum plus 12% superannuation.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To apply for this position, you must:

  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen or hold a valid visa with permission to work.
  • Complete an Identity check – supplying 100 points of identification for verification.
  • Be willing to complete an Integrity/Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
  • Be willing to complete a pre-employment medical and audiogram.

Responsibilities

In this hands-on role, you will:

  • Perform maintenance tasks including inspection and servicing of heavy plant and equipment, trucks and light vehicles with minimum to works and construction activities
  • Assist in the daily activities in Councils’ workshop
  • Receive jobs and ensure full understanding of job requirements
  • Perform fault and diagnosis and obtain parts and materials required to effect repair
  • Report and major faults or anticipated faults or breakdowns to management
  • Complete and maintain accurate service records in compliance with corporate record keeping requirements
