Title: Heavy Truck Driver Heavy Truck Driver GTRN06 - Heavy Truck Driver KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets. KBR is looking for Heavy truck driver works either for a company or under independent contracts who transports different types of merchandise from one place to another in a truck, van or any vehicle capable of carrying large loads. He may have to transport supplies, hazardous chemicals, manufacturing equipment. Must be a Saudi national Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of a truck driver is to haul cargo from one point to another so that they can be distributed, bought or sold inspect trucks for safety and follow the safety instructions, especially when carrying hazardous materials or chemicals He is also responsible for the condition of his vehicle and look for any malfunctioning part He must inspect the cargo to check whether it has been loaded correctly He must also review all the necessary shipping documents Some truck drivers get an extra driver who works under him and drives in shifts to take off the pressure from one driver. Make sure for compliances of all safety procedures. Encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions Comply with all SHE procedures prior to commencement and during work. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years’ experience in his field . drivers need to be in good physical condition as they sometimes need to be on the road for days without rest They should have knowledge of how to maintain the truck, in case it breaks down in the middle of nowhere They must be punctual and follow the schedule in order to transport the merchandise on time They must also be very careful and follow the precautionary measures when carrying hazardous or fragile materials.
