We are seeking qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanics for our busy Sydney and Brisbane based dealerships. This is a fantastic opportunity if you have prior experience working with Volvo Trucks, Volvo Bus, Mack or UD brands, or other European truck brands.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, your role will include but not be limited to:

  • Steering and suspension repairs
  • Electrical faults, diagnosis and repairs
  • Braking systems diagnosis and repairs
  • Component overhauls
  • Driveline repairs
  • Preventative maintenance services and repairs
  • Offisite and breakdown repairs

We’re sure none of the role responsibilities will be new to you, but at Volvo Group Australia we take it up a notch and drive for efficiency and the highest level of quality in our work. If you do too, then we could be a perfect match.

In this role, you will bring:

  • A Heavy Vehicle mechanical qualification (unfortunately we cannot accept Fitter qualifications)
  • A NSW Trade Card (only applicable for our Sydney dealership, can be obtained after successful recruitment)
  • Proven experience working as a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic in a commercial environment
  • Experience working with Volvo, Mack, UD or other European truck brands
  • Some exposure to light auto-electrical work
  • A pro-active attitude with a drive to work efficiently
  • A positive safety attitude with a team-focused mindse
