Description
Location: Townsville Port Aurizon’s Townsville Port team is seeking a Heavy Vehicle Operator on a permanent full-time basis. Applicants will need to hold an MC licence and have experience driving Road trains. About the role: * Operate Road Trains and single trailer combinations within Port and Local TSV area. * Townsville Port berth pick ups * Loading ISO’s Cement * Ship bulk unloading * Opportunity to upskill, forklift, loader and excavator * Opportunity for overtime (weekends) What you need to get started * Current MC drivers’ licence and a safe driving record, with experience operating road trains and singles * Ability to complete paperwork such as pre-starts on vehicles, defect reports and other various reporting * Mechanical aptitude * Good verbal and written communication skills Nice to have (but not required) * Dangerous goods licence * Forklift, loader, excavator ticket * MSIC card (or ability to obtain) What we offer you:        At Aurizon, we support the development and growth of our employees.
