Job Description Location: Geraldton Roster: 7 Days, 7 Nights, 7 Off Shifts: 10 Hours Rate: $47 per hour + Superannuation (Super paid on all hours worked) Type: Full-time Permanent At Newhaul, we take great pride in maintaining our truck fleet to the highest standards, ensuring both reliability and a professional appearance. The Heavy Vehicle Truck Washer plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and operational standards of the fleet of heavy vehicles. Working on a rotating roster, you will ensure trucks are thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and ready for operation, contributing to safety, efficiency, and the overall presentation of the fleet. The primary equipment you will be washing will be 60-meter road train combinations. Key Duties and Responsibilities Perform exterior washing, interior cleaning, and undercarriage rinsing of heavy vehicles using high-pressure equipment and cleaning agents Ensure proper handling of equipment and cleaning solutions to prevent damage to vehicles and maintain a safe working environment Comply with workplace health and safety regulations at all times Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on washing equipment to ensure proper functionality Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the timely and efficient cleaning of the fleet Qualifications Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential) Familiarity with high-pressure washers and other cleaning equipment A great attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and operate cleaning equipment A valid driver’s license (preferred) Knowledge of safety protocols and handling cleaning chemicals Applicants must hold a current National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement.
